[DIVERSITY BBOX] is focused on promoting LGBTQIA+ diversity and gender equality, as well as social inclusion of woman, people of color,people with disabilities, refugees and diverse sexualities and gender expressions in the corporate environment. The project strategically combines education and communication to encourage cooperative change for a more fair, democratic and equal society.
Diversity, gender and sexuality, women’s, people of color and people with disabilities empowerment and racial equality issues are hot. Every day, different media sources are producing content on the black and LGBTQIA+ communities, including in highest-rated shows. Several companies have also moved their communication towards this new direction, increasing diversity – trans people, women and black women – in their ads and marketing efforts.
THE [SSEX BBOX] INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE WAS THE LARGEST LGBTQIA+ CONFERENCE OF LATIN AMERICA FOR 4 YEARS
2015 was already a critically political moment in Brazil, during these intolerant times, a few of the possible paths that we can collectively call upon are information and unity: we must unite and educate ourselves to resist and offer knowledge against patriarchal, sexist, racist, misogynistic, and LGBT phobic attitudes and initiatives.
We organized the 1st, 2nd 3rd International [SSEX BBOX] conference in partnership with the Mix Brasil Diversity Film Festival in São Paulo (2015 to 2016)
The 4th year we Partner with Red Bull and the 5th year we make our beautiful conference in Paris, France.
